Daniel is a story of incredible faith, about a young man who lived most of his life in exile from his homeland. It tells the familiar stories of the lion’s den, the fiery furnace, and the handwriting on the wall. But it also gives prophetic visions of the future final judgment and deliverance by the Messiah, Jesus Christ. The book emphasizes God’s sovereignty over human affairs, and His authority over all things.
