Ephesians, like Romans, is a theologically rich book that isn’t addressing any particular problems in the church, but was instead written to further encourage the believers and give practical examples for how theology should work itself out in their lives. While the first half of the book is focused on what God has done for us, the second half is focused on what that means for us practically. It concludes with the famous passage about the “armor of God,” which is every Christian’s defense against the ongoing spiritual warfare throughout the world.
