Esther is the incredible true story of how God used a beautiful but humble queen to prevent the annihilation of the entire Jewish people. While this book never mentions God’s name, God is very clearly implied as being at work orchestrating all of its events. God’s sovereignty is the central theme, showing that even in the gravest of circumstances He is still in control.
