Hebrews

The author of Hebrews is not known for certain, but it is often attributed to Paul or Apollos. Regardless, the author is clearly educated, knowledgeable in the Old Testament, was influential, and was able to contend for the faith among the Jews. He uses many Old Testament scriptures to show that Christ is the promised Messiah. The primary theme is the supremacy and sufficiency of Christ as the great high priest from the order of Melchizedek, who accomplished salvation for all who trust in him.
